This will be posted in our Artist Newsletter, see note in the discussions. This image beings back really old memories, from the 1950's, for then had a studio in Danbury CT, and the manufacturer of the first carriers like this for VW, asked me to do the photos for his brochure and advertising. Hired two models and went to a park for the setting. Had a 4x4 of plywood on top of the carrier, showing the models on top with a tripod taking pictures. Plus about 100 other views, one with each model standing on the windowsill, hanging onto the top, and leaning out to illustrate how strong it was. Every time I see one off these racks on a VW, it reminds me of the 50-60s as I did other shoots until about 1968, when we left for CA...
